Tom Cruise’s latest film is to be rewritten after its script was found dumped in a bin in Austria. Some of the scenes were shot in Salzburg. The film also features Cameron Diaz.

Austrian media claimed on Monday that James Mangold – director of Oscar-winning blockbusters "Girl, Interrupted" and "Walk the Line" was considering changing the final sequences of "Knight & Day", which stars Cruise and Cameron Diaz, after the blunder which emerged last week.

An Austrian film fan found a folder containing the whole script as well as personal numbers of some actors and the movie’s production team in a rubbish bin in the city center of Salzburg where crews had been filming last week.

The unidentified man claimed he was told by a crew member he could keep the folder since it was unlikely it contained anything of importance.
But the man took it to local daily Kronen Zeitung as well as sending copies to producers who are currently working on scenes for the action comedy in Spain.

Kronen Zeitung today revealed details of the plot.
The Austrian newspaper claimed Cruise, alias CIA agent Roy Miller, has to deal with Diaz, alias June Havens, when she lands in front of him after a parachute jump wearing nothing but a bikini.

It also says that Cruise appears to drown in Salzburg’s Salzach River before resurfacing in Spain to rescue Diaz from the villains.
The production crew left Salzburg last Thursday after shooting mainly pursuit scenes in the city’s streets and on its roofs.

Fans trying to get a glimpse of the production were delighted when Diaz and Cruise took time to sign autographs and pose for pictures on various occasions.

Cruise shocked shoppers as he turned up in popular Getreidegasse while Diaz attended a mass.
Cruise meanwhile issued a message on his personal blog page in which he thanked the Salzburg crew and "the citizens of this beautiful city for your warm welcome and hospitality."

The star wrote: "Salzburg is a magical addition to our film and the hard work of our local crew made it possible for us to accomplish a great deal of work in a short period of time – not to mention the perfect weather as I ran along the historic roof-tops and jumped over the alley-ways.

"Salzburg has brought a unique perspective to our movie and I know none of us will ever forget the special time we spent with you."
